Use The Manna Toolkit To Prepare For Your Next Food Drive
A lot of work can go into planning for and organizing a food drive. That's why the Manna Food Bank has designed an easy to use toolkit to help you organize a successful food drive. At Manna we rely on 95% of our non-perishable food items to come from the community. The items that you will help to collect help feed more than 1,400 Conejo Valley residents each month. Our toolkit provides you with a wealth of information to help you organize your event. From our food drive checklist to our food collection guide, the toolkit has got you covered. Our high priority item list is something we'd like you to keep in mind when organizing your drive. We are in need of canned items like tuna, pasta, vegetables, stew, and soups. We've also got tips on how you can help even more by organizing a funds drive to coincide with your food drive. We are in great need of cash and gift card donations to local grocery stores, including Costco. Combining cash and food donations allows us to provide a bag of groceries to a needy family for pennies on the dollar! For more information on the Manna Food Bank and how you can help organize a food drive for Conejo Valley, please visit us online today. We have many different volunteer opportunities available to be sure to check back often for new updates.
