Manna and Bank of America Partner to End Hunger in the Conejo Valley
On November 18th Manna was present with a check for $2,000 from the Bank of America Charitable Foundation. As we continue to provide our most vulnerable Conejo Valley residents with much needed food, Bank of America’s investment in our efforts will be invaluable in enabling Manna to continue positively impacting the lives of those who need us most. The grant we received is part of ongoing investments the Bank of America Charitable Foundation is making to address immediate critical needs, such as hunger and shelter, and longer term solutions that promote financial wellness through access to benefits and resources. Along with financial support, Bank of America also sends dozens of volunteer teams each year to help sort donations, stock our pantry shelves and organize our warehouse storage areas. It is only with the efforts and generosity of the community that Manna is able to meet the needs of more than 21,000 Conejo Valley residents who struggle with hunger on an annual basis. We heartily thank Bank of America for their continued support of our mission, “To feed hunger people in the Conejo Valley”.
