Manna is happy to welcome Gelson’s to our neighborhood. The new Gelson’s Store on Avenida de los Arboles has had their Grand Opening! We are thrilled that they have partnered with Manna with their store rescue which will provide fresh products to our wonderful clients. September marks nationwide Hunger Action Month, a time when food pantries and food, like Manna, mobilize across the country to help end hunger in their communities. The Ralphs Community Program year begins on September 1, 2017. Manna is a proud receiver of this program and is able to feed many individuals because of it. Due to your generous donations Ralphs aims to donate $2 million dollars in the next year. We are happy to report that we will be renewed to receive some of these funds; however, our supporters will not be automatically renewed. The Manna Food Pantry will be closed Saturday, September 2nd – September 4th. We’ll be open again for food distribution on Tuesday, September 5th.
