It's time for a long overdue shout out of thanks to our dear friends at the Thousand Oaks Kiwanis Club. The reasons we owe this terrific group of people are too long to list. But here are a just a few current activities that show why these spirited, generous people are so special to the Manna family.
- Kiwanis is putting together a basketball team to play in the Thousand Oaks High School Key Club Give Back Game to support Manna
- Every month Kiwanis members purchase script for Manna
- They presented Manna with $150 worth of Smart & Final gift cards in February
- There is a growing volunteer list of Kawanians signed up to help at the Boy Scouts in the upcoming Scout for Food drive
- Kiwanians are putting together teams for the Crop Walk, a portion of the proceeds will support Manna
