Manna is proud to announce that Bob Engler, one of our board members, received the Spirit of the Community Award from the Greater Conejo Valley Chamber of Commerce. Along with the Spirit of the Community Award, Engler has also been awarded the Volunteer of the Year Award in the past to recognize all he does for the Thousand Oaks Community.
Bob Engler has been a resident of Thousand Oaks for over 20 years. He is a retired Fire Chief who has dedicated many years to volunteering in the Conejo Valley. Aside from his many years of support to Manna, Engler is also an active member in the Kiwanis Club of Thousand Oaks and is a Board Member for Conejo Recreation and Park District’s Trails Advisory Committee. He also supports many other local non-profits, such as the Red Cross and Community Conscience. Engler is recognized throughout the community as a beloved friend, mentor, and coach.
