Thank You to the Wood-Claeyssens Foundation
We would like to say thank you to the Wood-Claeyssens Foundation for their extremely generous grant of $5,000! Their grant is going to go a long way to help those in need in the local community by providing food to those who are not able to afford it on their own.
The Wood-Claeyssens Foundation, which is based in Santa Barbra, was established in 1980 and donates $3 million each year to over 200 different charities, from programs at the major cultural institutions in the area to programs to help the homeless and poor.
The Manna Conejo Valley Food Bank was founded in 1971 by people who believed that nobody in the Conejo Valley should ever go hungry. Each month, Manna provides more than 1,400 people in the local area with food assistance. Since we are not affiliated with any religious organization, nor do we receive any federal funding, we rely on grants and help from the public.
