With more than 49 million people in America going hungry every single day, food insecurity is a big problem. From small rural towns to the suburbs to the schools our children try to learn in food insecurity has crossed economic, race and geographic boundaries. Even here in our own backyard there are more than 15,000 food insecure households, that’s 45,000 to 60,000 men, women, children, seniors and disabled people going hungry every single day in the Conejo Valley.
