As people across the country prepare to celebrate the holiday season with gifts and good tidings, Manna would like to say "thank you" to Kemp Ford for their generous repair job that they did on the Manna truck.
The truck is used by Manna in the work to keep people in the Conejo Valley from going hungry, and thus it is an important part of the operation. When the truck had mechanical difficulties, it became very difficult for Manna to bring in the food so badly needed by our clients. Kemp Ford was kind and generous enough to fix the truck, entirely for free. This incredibly generous gift would be valued around $1,500!
Manna works to provide the less fortunate throughout Conejo Valley with food through private funding. Since most finances come from private donations, the group is extremely cautious about how the money is spent. This repair job was truly a special gesture that is appreciated by everyone at Manna.
