Sometimes when helping others with food assistance, it is easy to forget about the things we don't have in our office. It is more important to us to help the community and ensure that nobody goes hungry in the Conejo Valley.
Recently, our office was closed so that our staff could work remotely with members of the community. We lacked the basic office supplies that could help our operations function more smoothly and productively. Imagine our surprise when Lockheed Martin donated a truckload of furniture—5 file cabinets, 4 chairs, 3 desks, a white board and other various office supplies to help us out.
We are so grateful to live in a community that helps others in their time of need. Thank you for the furniture donation, Lockheed Martin! It will help our office not only look more professional, but will enable us to work more efficiently in the fight against hunger throughout our community.
