Get involved in our third annual PB&J campaign to help Spread the Love throughout the Conejo Valley!
Did you know that the average kid eats about 1,500 peanut butter and jelly sandwiches before graduating high school? PB&J is a great choice; peanuts contain over 30 nutrients! This lunchtime staple has long been a go-to for parents, but it's getting more expensive.
In recent years, the price of peanut butter has increased by over 30 percent! Things like poor weather conditions and production challenges are behind this increase, but the reason doesn't matter to struggling families who can no longer afford this pantry staple.
That's where our
Spread the Love campaign comes in! At Manna Conejo Valley Food Bank, we distribute about 5,000 jars of peanut butter annually. During the
Spread the Love PB&J campaign, we're asking you to get involved in helping us collect as many of those jars as possible. Please consider dropping a jar or two (or more!) of this nutritious, kid-friendly food off at Manna between now and Valentine's Day weekend!
This
Spread the Love campaign is your latest chance to help feed hungry children, families, and seniors in the Conejo Valley. Please join us! If you'd like more information about getting involved, please contact
