Volunteers play a key role at Los Robles Hospital and Medical Center by helping to provide high quality, cost effective healthcare to our community. The Los Robles Hospital program includes 820 volunteers that range from high school and college students, to young adults and senior citizens. Volunteers are matched according to their skills, desires and time schedule. With a minimum commitment of only 4 hours each week for 10 to 12 months, many volunteers enjoy their work so much, they do more than the minimum.
The Los Robles Volunteer Program also sponsors non-profit organizations through an allocations program of the funds raised in their gift shop. This year, at their grants and awards breakfast held on March 24th, MANNA received a more than generous donation from this vibrant, generous group of people who make a difference in so many ways for all of us.
Several other non-profit organizations in the Conejo Valley including Hospice of the Conejo, Conejo Free Clinic, Interface, Senior Concerns, Sara's House, Conejo Pregnancy Center, Westminster Free Clinic, the Cancer Support Community were also awarded grants.
The entire
MANNA family is grateful to have once again benefitted from the generosity of the Los Robles Hospital Volunteers. Another very fine example of neighbors helping neighbors in our beautiful Conejo Valley. Thank you.
