Urban Plates Partners with Manna

As many of you know, last month Manna won the opportunity to welcome and partner with the new Urban Plates restaurant in Thousand Oaks. In early November, Urban Plates dedicated 3 days of pre-opening activities to Manna. The restaurant graciously opened their doors to the community and to Manna supporters to provide a free (and delicious) meal to guests. While guests checked out they were given the opportunity to donate at the register to Manna. The restaurant hosted hundreds of guests over the course of 3 days; some were long time Manna supporters, while others learned about Manna for the first time. We are excited to announce that during the pre-opening events Urban Plates raised $5,500 for Manna! Jennifer Schwabauer (Executive Director) and Tayler Paskal (Community Outreach Coordinator) are pictured above accepting the check. Manna was honored to participate and hopes to partner with Urban Plates in the future.
